Select Scan for hardware changes in the top menu of Device Manager.Select Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery driver.Type ‘Device Control Manager’ into the Cortana/Search Windows box and open Windows Device Manager.The fix is fairly simple which is why I put this second. This has been around since Windows 7 through Windows 10 and can impact charging.
